Even if the slinky is over 1000 feet long. FUCKING HOW Saw this demonstration in physics… It has to do with the tension in the coils, the top coil crashes into the one below it, then it’s like a domino effect. The bottom’s still got that tension from the coils above it which keeps it “levitating”.  There’s an explanation here SCIENCE! IT RULES! AHA! A LINK! SCIENCE IS SO FUCKING COOL.
